Usability Issues
The app works great in a sense that it does exactly what it needs to. It’s relatively easy to resize images quickly. Two things that really bothered me:
First, for some context, I have an 11” Macbook Air — it was stupid difficult to get the app to fit my screen. When it opens, you cannot minimize the screen to show the “Next” bar at the bottom. Diagonal resize arrows would be great rather than only horizontal. I would even take vertical ones. At least throw a scroll bar on the side.
Second, I am unable to tab from value to value when resizing. If I want a custom size for the H x W, after entering the desired size in H I can’t tab to W. Minor issue, but annoying.
Otherwise worth it for $.99.

Very useful, but lacks a simple option
I find this application good overall. It gets the job done. My only issue with it, every time I use it, is that it defaults to saving the image into an “image resizer” folder the app makes in my Picture folder. I personally have never had the need to save my output to that folder. In my case, I nearly always want to have the new images outputted to the source folder (renamed, of course, which this app easily handles). Each time the app is started, it will again, default to having the output folder to the one I mentioned above. Choosing the output folder is perhaps the operation that takes the most time each time I use this app.
Is it still worth buying? I had said yes, but I’m now editing my review. I see that PhotoResize provides the easy option to save the output to the source folder. It’s the same price ($1.99), so I’m going to switch to that app.

Still missing out
Not all of the features advertised or I had hoped for. There is not a checkbox to keep the images in the original folder like in the screenshots. I want to be able to set a max width or hight; you can only set a ratio to resize to. Also, there is no way to optimize the photo. I like that it can take a lot of photos from different places. The interface is pretty dark an clunky; it seems like the UI could be condensed and updated.
I just want a simple and quick app to put photos through before I put them on my sites. This is missing some of the key features.

Almost Useless
I was really hoping that I would be able to use this app to quickly resize a handful of non-standard aspect ratio images for a website, however, this app only allows you to either set exact heights and widths, or a ratio. You are not able to enter either a height OR width and keep the aspect ratio. So if you know the exact dimensions for the image you want to create, this will work for you, or if you know the ratio by which you want to resize, then yes, you can use it. But I can’t really think of an occasion when this will work well for me.
I hope that this review will help you save $2.99.

Does NOT Work
This App never worked from the start. Does Apple even look at this stuff before they let this junk hit the public???
At any rate, I ended up using a different App for image resizing. But this one just did an upgrade, so I figured I'd try it again. Guess what….. it still doesn't work. You can't drag images to the program as intended - it does nothing.
But here's the kicker. I realize now, that these are the same folks who make Mail-O-Clock. That program didn't work right either - up until that program's latest update.
I'm running the latest OSX 10.7.2 and I know my way around a Mac. But these guys are making Apps that are fluky at best. Just thought I'd pass the word to look elesewhere.
There are good image resizing programs that work well in the App Store, this one isn't one of them.

works fast, but one extra step for me
I love the idea that an image can be resized so quickly and easily, and that part of it is true, but I took away one star because you can only save it in .png format, and I need my images to be .jpg. I have to add one more step and open the new image in Preview and then save as a .jpg image. I would give it 5 stars if I could save in .jpg from the app.
